“The history and winemaking tradition of our vineyard begins in 1942 when Vinos Chudal was born... Nearly six decades later, at the beginning of 2000, the company, already in the hands of the second generation of the family, decided to incorporate vineyards 20 kilometers to the west of the city, an area located at the confluence of the Ñuble and Chillán rivers; being the pioneers in the use of the Modified Scott Henry conduction system in the Itata Valley. The purpose of these plantations was to supply Premium category grapes to important wine exporting entities, which seek access to low production fruit in the market, with water restriction, that develops and manifests itself in different types of soil. Currently, in a stage where the third generation of the family is involved, the company has become a producer of bottled wines, starting Riveras del Chillán; vineyard with a clear objective of small-scale winemaking, applying techniques of good agricultural practices such as manual work in the vineyard and respect for the care of the environment.”

“La historia y tradición vitivinícola de nuestra viña comienza en 1942 cuando nace Vinos Chudal... Cerca de seis décadas después, a comienzos del 2000 la empresa ya en manos de la segunda generación de la familia, decide incorporar viñedos a 20 kilómetros al poniente de la ciudad, sector ubicado en la confluencia de los ríos Ñuble y Chillán; siendo los pioneros en el uso del sistema de conducción Scott Henry Modificado en el Valle del Itata. El fin de estas plantaciones fue el de proveer uva categoría Premium a importantes entidades exportadoras de vinos, que buscan en el mercado acceder a fruta de baja producción, con restricción hídrica, que se desarrolle y manifieste en distintos tipos de suelo. Actualmente, en una etapa donde está involucrada la tercera generación familiar, la empresa se ha transformado en productora de vinos embotellados, dando inicio a Riveras del Chillán; viña con un claro objetivo de vinificación a baja escala, aplicando técnicas de buenas prácticas agrícolas como el trabajo manual del viñedo y respeto por el cuidado del medio ambiente.”
